The "The 2024 report of the Lancet Countdown on health and climate change: facing record-breaking threats from delayed action" has been released and in this latest edition of the report, in addition to the wildfire indicator, it was accepted a new indicator on sand and dust storms (SDS).

This scientific achievement is thanks the collaboration within experts from WMO-GAW SDS-WAS and WHO Global Air pollution and Health - Technical Advisory Group (GAPH-TAG).
